Elica Collection debuts in Turkey: design and technology without frontiers

Further confirmation of this comes from Turkey’s MUDER ISTANBUL 2009 trade fair, which, running from 6th to 10th May, presented to architects and retailers an array of highly innovative design products for the bathroom and the kitchen.

The Elica Collection line was on show for the first time at the fair, with the company’s distributor presenting some of the high-end range’s most representative models: the originality, lines and materials of these items quickly attracted the attention and appreciation of the public, helping to open people’s eyes in this part of the world to an exciting new way of thinking about the cooker hood.

Elica’s Evolution system has introduced the cooker hood that conceals itself within the appearance of a stylish light-source, and visitors in Istanbulwere soon entranced by the eye-catching Victoria, Star, Ola, Grace and Wave models. Other products that have revolutionised the world of the cooker hood were featured alongside the Evolution range, including OM Special Edition and Mini OM, craftilyemploying perimeter airflow to achieve their sophisticated vertical, ultra-flat look, and Space, the quietest hood in the world, its patented EDS3 PLUS system reducing noise by over 40%.
