Francesco Casoli presents the high range Elica Collection in Athens
The latest Elica-produced models are about to take the Greek market by storm.
The commercial strategy of the world’s leading cooker hood producer is placing great emphasis on pushing its Elica Collection brand, a series that gathers together the Italian company’s most beautiful and prestigious models.
After presentations that have already taken place in many parts of Europe, last week it was the turn of Greece, where the Elica brand has been present for a number of years. A team from the Commercial Department headed by Renzo Carnevale, responsible for sales in Southern Europe, went to Athens to meet with the country’s most important retail representatives for kitchens and domestic appliances – key figures in their role as specialists in distribution methods.
The event, organised by Klimatechniki, Elica’s exclusive distributor for Greece, took over the whole of Athen’s Life Gallery Hotel for the occasion, with more than 100 guests taking part, including 60 kitchen retailers.
Special exhibition areas were created at strategic points throughout the hotel in order to highlight the features of the latest Elica Collection models, including Artica AST, Capta Meteo AST, Slope, Bogart, Atlantis, Aurora and, in a gesture much appreciated by those present, a version of the new Om hood decorated with the colours of the Greek flag. Om’s success has also led to its inclusion in Italy’s annual tribute to the best of Italian design, the ADI Design Index 2004.
On show together with the Elica Collection were several items from the the Whirlpool Group’s high-range Bauknecht series. Whirlpool has been an important Elica customer for over 30 years, and not surprisingly the two lines complemented each other perfectly.
Elica Collection, presented in Athens by Elica Group CEO Francesco Casoli, is the result of intense investment by the Fabriano company in recent years. The range is intended both to redefine the Elica brand itself and to meet the requirements of consumers who are increasingly determined to seek out products that are easily identifiable in terms of safety, quality, easy installation and maintenance, efficient after-sales service, high performance and beauty."
