Alessandro Gaja

He graduated in Milan with a degree in Industrial design and Furnishing and, after two years working for Driade as project developer, in 1996 he moved to Japan, where he worked as Chief Interior Designer for Taketsu, a company for housing development, and as Chief Product Designer for Depro Intl, a studio for industrial design projects.

In 1998, he came back to Italy and opened the C+ studio in partnership with the architects Farinaro and Lepore, designing private houses, shops for Giorgio Armani, Sony and Bottega Veneta, and offices for Levi's Italy and Screenplay.

In 2002, he opened his own studio, took part in architectural competitions and worked in the areas of interior, graphic, and industrial design. At the moment, he is working as art director on the development of a series of furniture produced in Japan and is also, together with the architect Emanuela Ramerino, developing the global project for the shops of “La fabbrica degli occhiali”.
