Gordon Guillaumier
Gordon Guillaumier was born in Malta in 1966.

He moved to England in 1985 for studies in economics and sociology at Reading University, and Milan in 1988 to enrol himself at the Istituto Europeo di Design, graduating in industral design with tutors Jasper Morrison and James Irvine. In 1992 he obtained a master in indusrtial design at the Domus Academy with tutors Aldo Cibic and Andrea Branzi.

After a brief apprenticeship with Baleri Associati, he started an important collaboration with Rodolfo Dordoni as product designer assistant; during this period he also designed and presented his first products for Foscarini and Mito.

In 1995 he was engaged in a full-time collaboration with Driade which lasted 4 years, working on the product strategy and development of Atlantide and Dstore whereby he assisted Enrico Astori with the art direction.

From 1998 he established himself as a free-lance in design management consulting, working with clients such as Dornbracht bathroom interiors, Rational kitchens, 2Link silverware, Livit furniture collection and Elt kitchens, yet continuing his activity as product designer for Bosa, FontanaArte, Montina, Moab'80, Pandora Design, Minotti and De Vecchi.

Gordon's products have been presented at various design fairs in Milan, Cologne, London, New York and Moscow. His works are often reviewed in international design journals - Domus, Abitare, Modo, Interni, Elle Decor, Wallpaper and Design Russia.
