Jacob Pringiers
Jacob Pringiers was born in Gent, Belgium in 1970; lived most of his childhood in Sri Lanka whereafter he moved to Milan Italy to pursue his passion for design at the Scuola Politecnica di Design.

After completion of his first design degree he furthered his studies at the Art Center College of design, Pasadena, USA where he recieved a bachelors degree in industrial design.

Several important projects kept him in the US until in 1996 he moved back to Milan to start his design studio collaborating with international clients and established design studios.

In 1998 together with his partner Luca Casini they start CASINI&PRINGIERS ASSOCIATES with which they work for clients such as BIC, LUXOTTICA, WMF,ARCADE , ASA-SELECTION,
RIVA BOATS, EMFORM, CALP CRYSTAL, etc. In 2000 Jacob initiates teaching at the design faculty of the Politecnic University of Milan. At the last Salone del Mobile he presented a series of seating benches for Desalto.
