Architecture of products and Architectural products
The new building systems of internal architecture have generated a series of products, defined as architectural, that are capable of integrating with the facilities and with the atmosphere itself. The use of plaster for walls and false ceilings offers the insertion of products, that conceal their mechanisms for the most part because they are built into the structures, but highlighting the importance of the object’s purpose.
Viabizzuno produces the Campana Brembana of Mario Nanni: a lighting structure that integrates into the ceiling. Created with white varnished plaster, it is available in two versions – one that is completely built in and the other that is partially built in, of which 300mm are hidden and 142mm visible. The model is available both in LED and fluorescent light in a way that through dimming, a range of light tones can be achieved, simulating the daily variation of natural sunlight.
Velux, the brand that brings natural light to attics, has created a system that “transports” sunlight from the outside to the false ceiling. “I wanted that the solar tunnel acted as an interface between natural light and interior design,” said Ross Lovegrove, the mind behind the new Tunnel solare.
The false ceiling could feature Cloud Nine, an Elica hood that conceals its technology to draw in air and light, transforming an elegant living room into a sober kitchen. Glass for the passage of light and stainless steel for perimetric suction that is both efficient and silent.
Another Elica product finds its home within a basic kitchen. Adagio is the downdraft system that when at rest, remains slightly flush, but when turned on, elevates itself to suck in cooking odors from the pans while providing light necessary to cook.
We have dedicated a large section to architectural systems on our website to offer support in discovering the new worlds of planning.
