What are duct-out hoods? Elica has the answer: they are hoods designed to efficiently remove fumes, vapours, and odours by expelling them outside your home. In this way only high-quality air remains in your kitchen so you can enjoy your cooking experience to the fullest. Duct-out hoods are the most popular and Elica offers an extensive variety - for which we challenge you! – that it will be tough to decide which one you want. The first question is: what configuration or style are you looking for? The options are many: wall-mounted, built-in, island, suspended, or downdraft. ome are rigorous and linear, while others are more classic and traditional in shape (all distinguished by international multi-award-winning design). In stainless steel, glass, copper. White, black, grey, or custom. With metal or wood accents. Sectional, modular, retractable, variable depth, with perimeter extraction on 3 sides. Some align seamlessly with your wall units, other transform into striking chandeliers, and then there are those that disappear from view. Many of Elica's duct-out hoods are equipped with an anti-condensation system (which puts an end to dripping on the hob) and Bluetooth connectivity to operate them from anywhere, also via a voice assistant, and to automatically connect to your Elica induction hob. What about performance? Equally exceptional. Equipped with latest generation motors, Elica's duct-out hoods are whisper-quiet and energy efficient, even on the highest setting. The long life filters can be regenerated and the newly-developed filters last up to 5 years: this means they need to be replaced less often and reduce environmental impact. The majority of the models are equipped with a delay switch off function and an adjustable lighting system: bright light or soft light, in warm or cool tones depending on the atmosphere you want to create.
